Q: What is Outreach University?

A: Outreach University is a collection of resources and training on topics you need for Outreach success, including interactive modules and learning pathways you can pursue at your own pace, and Outreach University Live.

 

Q: Can I access the content on the University if I don't have an Outreach account?

A: Yes, you can make an account and access all content for free.

 

Q: Do you offer a badge or certification?

A: Yes, we offer a certification program for Outreach Administrators! Check out this page to learn more about how you can become a certified Outreach administrator, and this page for information on earning your badge.

 

Q: What is Outreach University Live?

A: Outreach University Live is a collection of live virtual trainings and events to learn with our Outreach experts and ask questions in real time. To view the available sessions and register, click here.

 

Q: Do I need to have Outreach to join a session or take a module?

A: You don't need to have Outreach to join our session or take a module, but some information may make more sense if you can follow along in your Outreach instance. To request a demo, click here!

 

Q: What kind of Outreach University Live sessions are available?

A: We offer five different kinds of live sessions to suit various experience levels, personas, and areas of interest:

  • Foundations: Our Foundations sessions will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to hit the ground running, expertly delivered by our Training team. Foundations sessions are hosted on the first four Mondays of every month. 
  • Persona Spotlight: Outreach is the go-to platform for sales teams and beyond. If you're curious to learn how our different team members, from CSMs to Sales leaders and RevOps maximize their Outreach usage, this session, hosted on the first Tuesday of every month, is the one for you. 
  • Feature Deep Dive: Our Feature Deep Dives will explore Outreach features and processes in depth so you can get even more out of your instance. Feature Deep Dives will take place on the first and third Thursday of the month. 
  • Ask me anything (AMA): Our AMA sessions are open forums where you can ask anything about the topic we're covering—best practices, strategy, features, or use cases. These sessions are a great opportunity to get real-time insights tailored to your needs. AMA sessions are hosted on the third Tuesday of the month.
  • Customer Spotlight: Our Customer Spotlight sessions put our very own customers front and center so they can share how they use Outreach to fuel their sales teams and drive pipeline.

 

Q: Do I need to prepare before the session?

A: There's no preparation needed for our sessions! You will need to register beforehand to get the join link, but otherwise, please bring yourself, your questions, and if you want to follow along as we go, log into your Outreach before the session starts.

 

 

Technical and Troubleshooting

 

Q: What platform are sessions hosted on?

A: Our sessions are hosted on GoToWebinar.

 

Q: Do you support all web browsers?

A: For GoToWebinar, the most recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), and Apple Safari (for Mac devices). These browsers, in their most recent versions, offer the best compatibility and features for participating in GoToWebinar sessions.

 

Q: What do I do if I have trouble joining?

A: If you're having trouble joining a session, these are some things worth checking:

  • Did you register for the session? If you haven't registered, do so on this page for your preferred session to receive the link to join via email.
  • Follow these steps to join the session.
  • Try joining from mobile! Download the GoTo mobile app, enter the session ID you received when you registered, and select Join.
  • If the above does not work, you will receive the recording! We will email it to all our registrants after each session.

 

 

Registration and Recordings

 

Q: How do I register for a session?

A: To see all available sessions, click on this link. Once you've found a session you'd like to register for, click on the session and fill out the registration form. 

 

Q: What do I do if I can't attend live?

A: Although joining us live will allow you to bring your questions, sometimes you can't fit everything into a busy schedule! As long as you've registered, we will ensure you receive the recording to watch on your own time.

 

Q: Where can I find the session recording?

A: All our session recordings are housed in our Outreach University Live video library right here.

 

Q: Can I share the recording with my team?

A: Absolutely! We're excited for you to share past recordings or the video library with your team members. You can also review the webinar and video page here.
